With Gmail auto-adding everyone you communicate with, pruning your
address book is a must. However, you can now clean up with no worry of
deleting the wrong information and not being able to get it back.
Step 1: Click the arrow next to Gmail in the top left corner and choose Contacts.
Step 2: Click on the More button above your contacts and choose Restore contacts.
Step 3: Choose a time frame within the last 30 days, then click Restore.
Your deleted, merged and edited contacts will all be restored to the point in time that you chose.
